Brand New Experience

Because of the ongoing COVID pandemic, the traditional face-to-face class was changed into the temporary modular and online class. This type of class is an entirely new experience for me because I was used to the traditional face-to-face while this new normal is not as effective as it, it’s still a good temporary replacement regarding our current situation.

During the first day of class, I was really clueless on this new way of class because this is my first time on this type of class and I’ve never experience something like this before. At first, I have encountered a lot of problems on the way but as day passes I get used to it until I was able to adapt little by little to this new normal.

On this new normal, our house is our new classroom and I only get to talk and interact with my teachers and classmates through social media. I must say it’s not really that bad of an experience but it is still a bit difficult. I’ve been challenged a lot of times by the modules and the deadlines but it helped me grow as a student. We can still learn a lot in this new normal if we really focus and analyse the given modules, this new normal cannot be used as an excuse or reason for not learning.

Though this new normal placed a heavy burden on me and posed me a lot of challenges and experienced difficult times I still learn a lot. I guess all my hard work didn’t amount to nothing. I’m grateful because I can still learn even when inside the house. In this first quarter, I’ve learned a lot and helped me adapt a bit to this new normal. This is yet another obstacle to test us. A hard to forget and brand new experience.

  1. Despite the challenges this year provided, you still managed and tried your very best to overcome these. Learning especially amidst the obstacles of this situation will take some time, but giving up will never be a choice.
